About Me
For most of my life I have been around animals, either the pets of family and friends, or my own animal companions. Currently I have two dogs. One was a stray from Oakland, and the other is from a rescue.
In 2010, I began professionally sitting pets. I have had the experience of volunteering at the City of San José Animal Care Center. I have also fostered two rabbits for SaveABunny.org.

It is with extreme pleasure that I write this letter of reference for Laura Tait of Laura’s Pet Services. I met Laura at a local dog park several years ago and since then she has cared for Milo (my Chihuahua/Terrier mix) many times.
Laura is extremely responsible, dependable, and trustworthy. She has a true love of animals and is able to relate to each one on an individual basis. She is wonderfully patient and always loving towards Milo, who quickly became very comfortable around her.
I feel she truly cares about animals and is genuinely concerned about their well-being. She has always listened intently to my instructions and is always willing to work with me to meet all of Milo’s needs. In addition to all the basic requirements, I completely trust her to administer medication and follow through with any special pet needs. When it comes to Milo’s health and well-being, I have complete confidence in her knowledge and judgment.
Laura is an excellent communicator. She always does a great job of keeping me informed about how Milo is feeling and behaving. When I call, she often tells me about little, special moments in Milo’s day. She is very accommodating with changes in schedule, and I am always amazed at how quickly she returns my phone calls. She is very flexible and has never had to cancel on me.
The longest time Laura cared for Milo was for 3 weeks this past June-July. The peace of mind we enjoy on our vacations knowing that Milo is being so lovingly cared for is invaluable. We are able to relax and enjoy the vacations we can’t take Milo on knowing he is in the best hands. The happiness and contentment I see in Milo when we return is priceless.
There is no one I would trust with any pet of mine more than Laura. She is a model caregiver, who truly cares for the welfare of all pets.
